just an electric fan temp setting question

I always have them turn on about 10 degrees warmer than the thermostat and off a few degrees warmer.

210 should be okay.

On my '87 I have the first fan coming on at 170*F and off at 162*F. The second fan comes on at 180*F and off at the same 162*F.

I use a 180 thermostat and my fans come on at 195 and off at 175.

Ideally you would want the fans to turn off above your thermostats opening temperature. You can run into a situation where the fans will never turn off because of the overlap.

I used to have the fans turn off at the same temperature the thermostat would open at and never had an issue but I know other's have.

My fan controller is adjustable I have not changed the off setting yet, those settings were when I used a 165 thermostat sorry for the confusion.
