Name is Mark, I was a member of this site quite a long time ago, I had an 87 442 that I bought new, drove it until it rusted to nothing. Always wanted another one, but the really nice ones are just out of my price range, and the cheap ones are usually not worth bringing home. Found one on Craigslist that looked nice, called and went to see it, because it was only about 20 minutes from my house, and it wasn't too bad, has some rust in the lower 1/4 panels, but not too bad, interior is actually nice and complete, even to the cassette storage holder in the console. Everything works except the power antenna stays up and AC blows warm. Bought the car from the son of the original owner, pick it up tomorrow after work, It's the gray color, my original was black, and thankfully it does not have T-Tops or a sunroof. Mine had a sunroof, that I could never get to stop leaking, and the floors rusted out on it. My real question Vin 1G3GR1195HP321865 car was built in March of 87 and I remember Olds stopped production of the 442 in March, is there anyway of knowing where this car was at to the end of production?
