whats going on just bought a 1982 montecarlo but has the motor out of a 1987monte ss how can i tell if it is a 350 or a305 im new to cars but plan on learning just threw some headers on it and some flow masters on o alsowant to find out how many hp

The Montes didn't originally come with 350's, except the 84 Mexican Monte SS, so if it is an original 87 engine it is a 305.
