Hello all,

About ten years ago I left my 1969 cutlass at my landlord's house and moved from Florida to NYC. LIved there for about 10 years. Last week I picked up a 1979 Cutlass Supreme with green and white 442 style scheme for 2800.

I think it's the same car, it went into a time portal and aged in my absence....

Regardless, the first order of business is a new true dual exhaust (getting the transmission crossmember) and Model One stereo.

I'll be around with many questions and hopefully something to contribute.

EDIT: I should also mention that I was i the market for a gbody. Passed on a trashed monte carlo SS and missed an absolutely beautiful one with a bench seat (a must for me) with the SS embroidery in the headrest. Lots and lots of hacked together gbodies in the DC area....

Nice! I love 78-80 Cutlasses, just wish I could find a rear bumper for my '80...

Have you ever looked at getting a refurbished paint scheme? Mine needs new paint but I want a totally reproduction job but with actual pin striping paint, not tape...
