Thanks. Now only if I can get it to sound and perform better. Just having a hard time trying to figure out the exhaust system.Your car looks good, nice stance and a clean look without the body side molding.
But I actually prefer showers.
We spoke about this the other day in a thread I posted. It's just a stock 307. It's has a y pipe coming straight from the manifolds with no cat with 2 Flowmaster dump mufflers. I wanna put a true dual exhaust on. I bought a pypes exhaust 3 inch ss style and spoke to the tech department at the company and they told me it would fit. But the manifolds are to small. I just wanna find a pair of headers and exhaust system that can easily bolt up with no problems. What engine and exhaust do you currently have?
Does it have to be full length headers? Cause I found Hedman shorty style street headers for my car with a 1 5/8 o.d. with a 3 inch collector.Sorry, I did not make the connection, as far as 3" exhaust on a stock 307 I already gave my opinion on that but I did not realize you actually bought the Pypes 3" system the other issue is finding a full length header that works well on a stock 307 since there is not a lot of selection for an Olds in a Gbody with probably no more than 1-5/8" primaries.
That would be your choice but most aftermarket dual exhaust systems are designed for full length headers and even then require fitting the exhaust to the headers, with shorties you have to add pipe usually with an angled end to match the headers which requires fabrication.Does it have to be full length headers?
