I put my car on the road today and went to the gas station to fill it up. Only cost me $59.50 for 93 octane. I parked it in my driveway and now I smell gas. I look underneath and gas is leaking from the top of the tank and some onto the drivers side tail pipe. Time for a new tank I guess.

it could be a o-ring or hose 🙂 ...jesse

I siphoned some gas out and it seemed to stop leaking. Hopefully problem solved.

I drove it for about an hour and the temp never went over 170 degrees, the oil pressure idled about 40 psi after warm up and I got on it hard. With some higher gears, a posi rear and a shift kit in the transmission, I think I will be all set. The engine doesn't wake up till I hit about 20 mph. It is fast enough for me though and spins the tire with a little stab of the gas.

Now another problem, after driving I pulled into the driveway and the rear brake line blew out right under the drivers floor. So tomorrow I have to replace that. I will just get a piece of line and some compression fittings.

I was going to put Flowmaster 40's on but the car is loud now with the cheap turbo mufflers and has a wicked grunt to it.

i know they're easier, and yes i've used them, but don't use compression fittings. do yourself a favor and flare the ends and do it right.
like jesse said it's probably the sending unit o-ring that's leaking fuel, if it's only with a full tank.
