Hello, I was wonder if there is such a replacement for that recycled dryer lint material that is used to deaden road noise. I'm well aware of dynamat and plan to use it but its thin. Could I omit this junk. Most of it is all dirty and damaged. I'm only holding them to make patterns if need be.

I just used heavy duty house hold carpet padding . I like the foam type. Easy to work with and will help carpet fit after the other type sheet sound/heat proofing .

You can buy the automotive grade jute padding still. I found a place online that sells a 36"x72" piece for $14.95.

I used it to replace the padding on the backside of the rubber firewall insulation that sits under the dash. Worked really well.

You can never have enough sound insulation. 😉

Thanks, but I wanted something to replace that dryer lint material. 😛 But I can use dynamat and then dynapad. There was a leak from the rear window that I have to repair before I reinstall the interior. But it destroyed that cardboard shelf and got all over the 2 jute layers. Also somehow on the jute/plastic material on the window seal panels(they got all saggy and ruined). So I took all that crap and tossed it out.
