know where to find the front disc brake backing plate

one of my front backing plates it kinked. right at the part where the back of the rotor sits into the section that fits around the seal. its causing a rubbing and makes a light scrathing sound. anyone know where to get some new backing plates?

i was checkin out ebay and saw some but it list for gm cars ranging from 65 to 72. but they look the same. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/65-66-67 ... ccessories anyone know if they would fit?

wow i was completely off on the bolt pattern i found these on ebay. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayI ... 0521437301 before i buy these anyone running there front brakes without them. i know they act as a splash shield but i wont drive this car in the rain.

They're mostly just dust shields. You can run without them.

Those of us that have upgraded our brakes toss them anyway because they no longer fit.
