last year of 442

what was the last year of the 442 ?
i`m trying to register on a new forum ...
they ask that question .... just cant get it right .

Correct (not counting the "Quad442"). The RWD Cutlass made it into 1988, but the 442 package did not.

Almost everywhere I look says the 91 Quad 442 is the last one, but I found this....

Ok, I reread that article and that one was a conversion by his company, not GM. 😳 So I'd say 91

I tought it was 1971 because in 1972 "442"was considered a cutlass option
(that is why most clones are 1972`s)

By that logic, the only "real" 442s would be the 68-71 cars, since those were the only years with a unique VIN.
