Left turn signal doesnt turn off

Well my left turn signal doesnt turn off. I have to move the leer manually. I know this setup in the column is broken. My questions is will it work out of a Monte Carlo or Regal in my 79 Cutlass? I know were a couple cars are at in the junkyard and just want to make sure they fit before I rip them out. Thanks in advance.

it will work . but why not go to local auto store and get a new tun signal switch,i replaced mine new cost about 25.00 bucks.

I never priced it out at the auto parts store....Figured they wouldn't have it. and I was going to the junk yard in a couple weeks. Thanks I will definitely look it up now.

It may only be the canceling spring that's broke, very cheap fix, common problem, my malibu did the same.
