lemans fenders

does anyone know where to get new fenders for a lemans? if not will fenders off a malibu or el camino fit?

Malibu/Camino fenders will line up at the back, but the Pontiac header panel/bumper cover won't fit up.

Our estimating system at work shows that they are still available new, but it's quite possible that it's an oversight on the data compilation.

Pretty regularly come through the u-pullit type yard down here, but kind of a long haul from ya.

thanks theres malibus and el caminos everywhere around here cant find lemans parts anywhere i was thinking or getting some fiberglass malibu fenders and fitting them to the front end it would be easier than metal maybe

I'd say alot fewer Lemans were built...hence fewer sources in yards. Just takes a little more lookin'

You can always try E Bay. If you don't find them once, try every day for a few weeks. They are not rare enough cars that they won't turn up. I mean, it's not like it's a Borgward Isabella or something, it's a Pontiac.

How many do you need and what color?
They made over 500,000 Lemans and Grand Lemans. I have "some".
I'll check with someone in WI that may have some too. He would be closer for ya..

Oh, Lemans not Grand Lemans right? Lemans won't have the holes and pegs for the trim.
