...for trying to convince my wife that I need to put my project Cutty into the farm's garage long-term, and buy a different beater (not a project beater) to drive in the meantime. How selfish of me!

Meanwhile, back at the project car...3 of 4 tires go flat every few days, but I can't justify buying new 14" tires, since I want some 16" rims (and, of course, tires) in the very near future. And, after a few days of 0 degree weather, I tried to start my beloved rustbucket the other day...and discovered antifreeze on top of my intake, close to the thermostat. I told my wife that antifreeze outside the radiator means I need something akin to an LT1 swap. She laughed me off.

How silly of me to be married AND buy a project car! I am considering vandalizing her makeup tray...hey, if she needs new makeup...I need a new engine 🙂

hahaha choose one the car, or the wifey lol.

haha one reason i am making sure whenever i get a wifey she understands that cars are important. You could just get another set of tires and then run them as winter/snow tires for whenever you get your nice rims. Just a thought

Excellent idea from a Royal Smart Person 🙂 gonna do that.

general rule of thumb when married,
If the car gets something, so does the wife.
If the wife gets nothing, neither does the car.
Like it or not, its the truth.

That brings back some old memories. But for me it was i spent to much time working on my car......and not enough with my EX. I just bought parts cuz it was easier to ask for forgiveness then permission. It does help if you keep the family fleet running in good order and you buy her something then you can buy something for your "baby".
