hey guys, i,m looking to put longer wheelstuds in because i,ve had to run 1/2" spacers on the rear..is there anything out there or a part # on something that will fit without opening up the bores on the axle..a few local parts suppliers say thats there is no direct fit ones that are longer
oh its a 7.5
thanx

i just swapped out my studs to accommodate my Boss 338 wheels used 15 Dorman M12x54mm part number 610-323 and to compensate for my rear axle not being centered and the drivers rear wheel barely rubbing, i used a generic parts store 5/16in spacer with GM Performance studs part # 22551491 which i don't recall the specs... But either way the stock studs were too short... I used open end lugnuts.

I also used Dorman long studs so I could fit some Firebird snowflakes. Problem was that the fronts required 1/2" spacers to clear the lip on the lower control arm. This year I went back to Pontiac Rally2's and the studs were way too long and I wasn't going to cut or change them. Instead of open end lugs I found a vendor on Epay selling M12x1.50x48.3mm closed end bulge lugs that enclosed the whole long stud. The bulge spreads the load on the rims and I can smear some anti-sieze on the threads so they never rust. They were about a buck a piece with free shipping, look great, and are good quality. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Lug-Nuts-Bu...Parts_Accessories&hash=item53f971be3c&vxp=mtr
