Hey guys ive searched high and low and come up with nothing at all.
Im looking for a gbody cutlass model to put together.
I havent done a model in a pretty long time but i think it would be really cool to find a cutlass one.
The only one i found is a "donk" one (manufacturers words not mine 😛) and i dont think that would be as fun although i could change it up i just want an original looking cutlass.
Any scale is fine btw.

Someone help me find one.
Thanks guys

have one in my back yard, needs body work, paint and a powertrain, 1:1 scale

where did you find a donk one? I remember building models many years ago, had tons of them and if they would make a 1/25 scale plastic cutlass kit I'd have to buy a couple to do up.

I remember hearing rumors of an 83/84 Hurst/olds plastic kit being made but it never happened.

thats cool ^

its sucks but i think a lot of people see gbodys as 80s junk, and not to much effort is put into manufacturing gbody merch. except ss monet carlo stuff, i see that stuff once in a while.

The Revell "Donk" Cutlass was due for release, but was cancelled due to (from what I heard) a licensing fee dispute with GM.
The white one pictured with the hydraulics appears to be a resin cast body of a Cutlass Supreme Brougham, '81-'86.I've searched for years to find out who made them, to no avail.
They are rather hard to find.It took me about three years to find these four.
They are Seconds shots, so there are issues. The trim needs filling due to bubbles, or you could remove it, the roof is a bit crooked (nothing a Grand National kit roof won't fix), the hoods are very THICK, you have to figure out your own headlight bezels and grilles. You will definitely need a Monogram GN kit to build it.
One will definitely become my '83 Cutlass Supreme, one will become a T-Top '83 Hurst/Olds, one may become a blue Brougham with white half vinyl top and white interior and all the trim.
If nothing goes wrong, as in breaking something and needing another one of the bodies, I may have one for sale in the spring. However, nothing goes until at least my '83 Supreme and an '83 H/O are built.

If your looking for a 1/64th cutlass johnny lightning recently re released the cutlass. Its painted as a beat the heat cop style car. I bought three.

If theres enough demand for that body and if furtrader was intersted in letting me borrow the car I could possibly mold and re produce it. I do some resin casting in my other hobby. Looks like a $35 casting though.

I spoke with a vendor at the englishtown swap meet. I wanted to find a 1/24th or 1/25th scale model of the g body cutlass. He basically said they do not have one out for any of the major model companies. He said making a resin kit is most likely the only way. He also mentioned that in addition to the g body cutlass a lot of people asked about the early Malibu';s . They also don't make these
