Hi. I'm looking for some good drag radials for this season. I was using BFG Radial T/As last year, mostly for the look. This year I am going to have a new motor and I want to get som DRs that will actually hook well. I'm running a 3000lb car w/ an auto trans, ford 8.8 w/ posi and 4.10 gears, aftermarket rear upper and lower control arms, and adjustable front shocks. so i can do a fair amount w/ just suspension tuning. But I need a DR that will hook good and also have some wet-weather capability, since I will be driving this car on the street too. Suggestions?

how is their wet-weather performance? I need this car as a daily.

BUMP. Anyone?

Unfortunately Nittos are out. Is there something else comparable? Looking for a 15-inch rim size. I dont really want to step up to a larger rim unless I absolutely have to. Also, I want good-looking DR's. Something like a BFG-G-force T/A KDW 2, but in a 15 inch rim.

Why are the Nitto's out????? They are the best "Street" drag radial out there for a daily driver......Get what you want, but when it's raining out your parking it or wrecking it....

I need something less drag and more street. This car is my daily. I need good traction, and I will have a 275 tire, but I need better rain performance than the NT555R provides.

I don't know what you mean by that, the Nittos provide the best rain performance for a drag radial by far....I have a pair and drive my car in the rain, as my car is a street/strip car....Do some research....your the one that said you wanted "Drag Radials"....I will stand by my previous statement on this one friend . If you want a more streetable tires, throw some Wal-Mart specials on there, buy some slicks and take them with you to the track...If you don't plan on going to the track, then you don't need drag radials.. 8)

I did say drag radials. You're right. I suppose what I meant was "ultra high performance tires" for regular street use.
