I'm looking at lowering my Regal. I am considering the basic lowered spring kit from eibach. i did also look at lowered spindles but im currently running 225-40-17 on all for corners and think that a 2" lowered spindle may just be to much, not to mention i then have to buy a set of rear lowered coils and most of those are only 1". this would
any one currently using somthing they really recommend?
My ultimate goal is to get rid of the wheel well gap, lower the car as evenly as possible (no rake) and retain as much of the smooth ride as possible. i Know im asking alot.

2" drop will lower the car nicely. But if you do 2" spindles up front and keep the stock spring rate you may have a problem with bottom out the front end. I used Belltech rear springs and front spindles to get a 2" drop. I have 205/70/r14s right now. When I had 195/60/r14s up front I had a problem with bottoming out when I would drive the car HARD. Normal driving it wont be a problem, especially with a larger tire. I am using a stiffer front spring too. Yeah I dont care too much about ride quality 😛 But its not that bad, really, with a 2" drop.

With the drop spindles you will probably bottoming out in the front, that's what happen to me with my regal. In the front my tires are 245/45/17, so I went with the stock spindles and cut 1/2 coil out of some stock SS moog springs. Lowered it about an inch with the SS springs and stock spindles. So if I were to do it again I would try the 5662 or 5660's.

Yes you will definately be bottoming out on the front end if your car is stock w/ stock spring rate. My front end is 200lbs lighter than stock and still bottoms out with 195/65/r14s. I found when I switched to 205/75/r15 and a stiffer spring rate my bottiming out problems have gone away.
