So, i would like to lower my car soon. but not sure what route i should go. right now, i have stock front springs, and the rears....are from either like a wagon, or an a body? not sure, but it sits high. i like the way it sits, just wanna be lower. Not sure if i should just run all stock springs, then drop spindles in the front. Or just lowering springs? Also, kinda got some weight in the trunk lol so im thinking it may be better to keep stock springs if possible. What do you guys think?

Here's the current stance:

Just something to think about:

Those 20+ year old from coils are probably already sagging 1-2". So lowered springs, or new stock springs with lowered spindles probably won't lower the car as much as you might expect.

For the rear, I have heard that the 80 Camero/Firebird springs drop our cars 1 1/2-2".

That should be "mid 80's camaro firebird springs"

80 camaro springs were leafs

Pm "FE3Xclone" about using the f-body springs. I think you have to use different isolators or something. He knows more about it than I do

Yup, meant to say 80s, well, after 81 lol.

If you go drop spindles on the front with stock springs and shocks and small tires....you may find your headers or crossmember scraping on the ground over big bumps. I'd suggest going stiffer shock/spring if you do drop spindles and small tires, or get larger tires to get your drivetrain farther off the ground.

The thing I don't like about dropped spindles, they bring your lower A arms 2" closer to the ground.

'You see a manhole cover sticking up out of the road. Swerve to avoid running it over, but your A arm clips it...'
^ That's what scares me. ^

Ahh yeah, That does sound scary. May just save up and get airbags. What's the best way to go about That??
