Ls swap help!

Hey guys I have a 83 ttop regal and I got a good deal on a ls3. I plan on swapping real soon. I'm wondering what all I have to do and how can I save money doing it. Going with a th400 trans, haven't decided on carb or efi as of yet. What can I do to save money during this build thanks a lot!​

I vote keep it efi and use the corresponding transmission, whole lot easier IMO to make it work as a package. As for saving money I would suggest using a lot of factory parts and keeping mostly stock.
