lt1 swap in 82 regal

for those who have already done this, does the ac compressor have to be relocated? i just got my lt1 out of a 94 z28 and im fixing to start this swap so any tips would be appreciated.

Me and my brother did an Lt1 into a mid 80's Firebird and it didn't take any modifications other than, engine mounts, EFI/wire harness. And later we put an LT1 into a Mote SS after it blew a 383, and had a 454 in it... And again I don't remember any mods to the pulleys, accessories, etc. But my brother sold that car before it ever got put on the road.

you can leave it in the original spot, but you'll have to notch the frame... IIRC someone in here has one in a monte ss that he relocated..
