Hey everyone, I came across a set of dirty Recaro seats out of a early 90's Chevy lumina police car. Was wondering if anyone has had these seats and your opinion on them? Will they bolt right in? I know a lot of GM seat mounts are the same so there seems like a good chance they'd bolt right in. They look like with a good scrubbing or steam cleaning the dirt would come out.

Was thinking they would be a cheap (and probably lighter than stock) temporary replacement for the shot front seats in my Grand National. I'd like to get around to restoring the original seats to like new eventually, but in the meantime some more presentable seats without upholstery that's tearing and crumbling away to nothing would be an improvement. They look like they'd be firm but comfortable, like old VW GTI seats, or E30 BMW seats, I've always been a fan of the old European import interior quality.

They are hard as a rock but they are cool looking. I had a cloth set years ago when the 9C3 Lumina came out

I think it was a 98

Pics of said seats...

What an odd combo, Recaro's in a Lumina and in a 9C3 package makes it even weirder IMO.

Greetings; Pictures are worth 1000's of words? Anyway I ordered these seats about 40 years ago this month! They arrived before the car & sat in the living room until the Bronze Brick appeared. Point being they didn't change much over the years & still maybe my favorite seats? Ok maybe the GuTOo seats are better, but not by much. Ole' Bob.

I need those seats. In fact, I need that entire interior. That's nice

So late 80's and early 90's "A" bodies and cars like olds 88's and buick park avenues share seat tracks with G bodies

Do lumina W bodies also share the seat track mount locations?
