Today I came up on a m90 supercharger + intercooler from my boys 92 thunderbird sc actually it was his dads me and my boy crashed it 10 years ago sideshowin in east Oakland lol I think I was 13 long story short he swung too wide in a intersection and smakd a Iroc z and a light pole 10 years later all that's left is the motor transmission and that m90 I bug him about it all the time he finally gave in I gave him a removable gt wheel that I'm no longer using and I bought the 18 pack tonite and whaaaam I got a m90 and ic + piping I have a couple 4.3s one from a blazer it's a CPI and the other from a s10 it's a tbi my plans are to boost one with the m90 syclones/typhoons do it to the 4.3s with a turbo so ima try it with a m90 blower but my question is wich would be easier to do the tbi or CPI 4.3 I first thought get the performer intake and go blow through carbed but the blow through carbs are so expensive I would be throwing it in my 81 Malibu wagon replacing my 229 and Saginaw 3 speed with a m90 boosted 4.3 and wct5 heres a pik

IMO, not worth the cost, time or effort. Just hang it on the garage wall so your buddies think you're cool.

 This!

Lol was kind of thinking that but than again I might just try it since I don't have anything else goin in I'm thinking maybe I might throw it in my Datsun truck well see any1 ever modded a carb for a blow through application

I think you need to sit down with a paper and pencil and try to see how it works. If you use a blowthru carb where would you mount it? That supercharger is made to go on top of an EFI base. I'm not sure you can get where you wan to go...at least not without looking like a Rube Goldberg contraption.

Did some thinking already and I have a idea or at least we're to start I seen a picture of something similar i seen it here on gbodyforum but I think a member was just referring to it I'll post it

I was thinking something like this just turn it 180 degrees to we're the output is facing down run piping down from the unit to ic up front and out the other end and back up to a carb hat. I found these on another forum and I liked this idea for the plenum

Cool idea, will be a lot more work but Im interested to see if/how it turns out.

Gen V is a lot more efficient, but a Gen 3 is still good. Im planning on running mid 12's on my Gen 3. Might pick up 2-3 tenths at most, but its at least a $1000 swap.

The Gen V is more efficient then the Gen III.

Not sure which generation M90 came on those supercoupes (obviously not the Gen V) but it probably wouldn't really boost a 4.3 very well without some serious intercooling.
