MikesMontes!! I have been dealing w this guy since I bought my Monte Carlos (over a year now). 3k dollars later I'm having problems w him w his costumer service. I recently order front n rear bumpers. Rear one is a "refurbished" once I opened the box I notice the rear bumper had "spider web" everywhere. I email him w the issue once I got him on the phone he wasn't very helpful. He told me that I have to box it n find a FedEx delivery truck n refuse the delivery..smh. So I did. The FedEx guy didn't want to take the box n told me to call FedEx to schedule a pick up. Long story short MikesMonte doesn't want to pay for shipping. He told me somebody has to pay for it then giggles... Lol smh! So now I'm stuck w a 499.00 dollars bumper in worst condition then mine.... Just wanted to vent...

Re: MikesMontes.com

Holy sh*t $500 for a bumper? Thats rediculous. I have bought a few small interior pieces from them bit thats it. It sucks your having this problem from all that I have heard they are a good company just rediculously overpriced most of the time.

Doesn't sound like your stuck with the bumper to me. Sounds like all you have to do is return it and pay for shipping. Should you have to pay for shipping if he sent you junk? No you certainly shouldn't, but unfortunately if that's what you gotta do then that's what you gotta do. After you actually get your money back, let them know you will tell others about their poor customer service.

When Rocket Racing fvcked me over on my engine, I didn't really have many options. Got taken for alot of money and dealt with lots of aggrivation over it too. Unlike me where that sack of crap John Stolpa avoids contact with me because he doesn't want to pay up, you at least are able to get your money back. So if you feel Mikesmontes really gave you a raw deal, then don't give them any of your money. Return the bumper, get your refund and tell them they lost you as a customer for good.

Is that an 87-88 Monte rear bumper cover? If it is, save your money. This week Tobyp is test fitting his new replacement 87-88 Monte bumper cover on my car. If it is perfect it will go into full production. It is made from the exact same materials as the original one and not fiberglass like the ones on the market today. Check out this thread about it.... viewtopic.php?f=5&t=46057&p=392694#p392694

Yeah I think you may have been further ahead searching craigslist and having a body shop prep one to be honest. I'm all for supporting vendors that make g-body parts available, but word of mouth travels quickly when you don't do right by your customers. There's a lot of overpriced junk peddlers that have emerged within the last 10 years too.

I really thought I was getting a refurbish bumper for 500 dollars. Is why I did it

Looks like they deleted my post on montecarloss.com smh. After I explain my self they still want to praise on how great he is. I'm only telling the true. He knows what he did!!
