Someone told me to get a mini spool since I dont have positraction, WHAT THE HELL IS A MINI SPOOL?

You dont want a mini spool if it is a street car. They are pretty much only used for racing and off road driving. It keeps both rear tires locked and it makes a car harder to turn and strains the axles. It will probably wear out tires faster also.

If the car is driven on the street, a limited slip diff is what you want.

I would agree that a tight posi is all you need for a street car.

If, however, you want/need a spool I believe the Detroit Locker would work.

It is locked like a spool most of the time but springs inside allow it to "click" and unlock when you need the wheels to rotate independently.

Again, stick with a posi and you will be just fine.

😱 HELL YEA GOOD LINK. It says its for vehicles with 3.08 and down. I got 3.42. Will it still work?
