got the new holley fuel pump on along with sum taylor 8mm wires, adjusted the carb a lil too
still got a lil hesitation in the 2600-2800rpm range

lol
thanks

I like the exhaust, what mufflers are you running?

I like the sound of those pipes but we missed the burnout. You never did say, did you ever take her to the track? Is she really a monster or just a set of pipes & some graffics. Not that I would poke you with a stick or anything.

its a manual holley pump, she is a 355cid hypertectic flat tops, edelbrock performer rpm 64cc heads, performer rpm intake, harland sharp 1.5 roller rockers, cm pushrods, comp xe284 cam and lifters, holley 3310 750cfm, and now 327-11 fuelpump, msd6a ignition, hooker longtube headders, 3in pipe and dual flomaster 40 series mufflers, true duals, no x or y pipe....
backed by a stock (for now) th350, stock stall, and a peg leg 7.5in 4:10 gear (soon to be welded posi again
the 1st 500 miles are over so now its oil change time, time to get the break in oil out........
she had gabriel race shocks on front and gabriel hi jacker air shocks on rear, lakewood boxed upper and lower traction bars,
now she is on her 2nd trans , 2nd rear, and 3rd driveshaft
1st two driveshafts was warpt, and 1 cracked severly
the 1st trans the 700r4 was shot within the 1st 250 miles
the rear got around 400 miles on it brfore the welded spidergears busted

lots of work, and not enough fun ride time

she also has no heat/air, only ps, pb, pw, pdl, underbody street glow lights (red)
and a rockin system, jvc audio with 4G ipod, pioneer in dash and rear deck, the trunk is bumpin with a 4000watt amp on 2 12in kicker cvr12s

o, and the factory speed-o cable broke in the 1st 4/10 of a mile.........

she dont have 500 miles on her yet, but close enough to where, im callin it 500, and setting the speed-o to 500miles when i get my cable tuesday 🙂

no track time this year, last year ran a 12:84 on street tires, and had bogging issues on that run....

any more questions??

That cam the flows & the sound of that valley or whatever really make it sound wicked. 8) 12.8 makes it a hard running street car & no poser. Just had to rattle your cage a bit. Regular radials even with some suspension mods are hard to get a good 60 foot out of. Years ago when I first turned up the boost on my GN it went 13.40s on 215/65/15 Eagle GTs. I didn't know anything about drag racing (still don't  ) as in even how to read my slips. Another GN guy came up and said he had some soft compound recaps on GN rims if I wanted to try them. I said sure so we jacked it up swapped on his wheels & she clicked off 12.70s at 107. I didn't realize how much I was spinning. I though I was getting out of the hole about as good as could be and well I guess I was but anyway traction is paramount. Breaking sh*t sucks to but when you start makeing power you are going to find the weak links. Hope you have a blast with it this summer.

o i will
and any members from the east tennessee area, ill be in the pigeon forge for the shows, if anyone is around there
look for the monstercarlo 🙂
