Monte Carlo cage

Got the Monte Carlo back about a week ago.Had a buddy put a 10 point chromoly roll cage in it.Then another buddy painted it silver,the color of the car.The cage turned out pretty nice.We put a bar crossways between the frame rails in the rear passenger area of the floor.It made a nice place to run the diagonal bars to instead of welding plates to the tunnel.We then ran bars from the lower control arm mounts to this cross bar too.We cut the rear floor pans where your passengers feet would go,and made them about 2.5" shallower so 4" exhaust will fit up under the car nicer.Put a swing out on the drivers side.Now I've got to start putting all the interior back in it.The motor is still at the machine shop.Have no idea when it's coming back.It's been there 4-5 months now......waiting patiently..LOL!

Man that came out looking real sharp. I am jealous i still need to get my cage installed. The biggest pain i am going to have is that i have just layed all new interior in it and i went crazy on the glue for the carpet. That might be a bit of a pain in the rear to pull the carpet now. I hope mine comes out looking as good as yours did.
