Greetings G-body forum members,

Just registered and thought I would make a brief intro. Been a MC SS owner for almost 22 years, during most of that time the car has been in storage.

(okay here's a shot of the car almost 22 years ago, the only road trip it made to the Rockies!)

Not necessarily a long or unusual story there, just life and family commitments and no time to play with the car much or at all. I'll save the tech details for another time, but I did manage to bring the car "home" this spring, where I went to work upgrading some "parts". If you're at all interested, I did a meager job at a diary over at my blog here http://nitroimage.blogspot.com/2007/05/weekend-for-me.html

or here http://nitroimage.blogspot.com/2007/05/one-wheel-down.html

Anyway, it's good to have the MC home, even though I didn't have much time to get to drive it this year before the snow comes. Sheesh, I gotta get a life!

Cheers,
IROCSS

Welcome aboard.Nice to see more Canadians.
LOL. 😀 You know, when I started the site, I never would have thought there'd be such a big Canadian (and northern in general) presence. Growing up in WI I figured most everything that far and further north had rusted into oblivion by now! 😀 Funny how it worked out.

Welcome aboard from me as well! (and to anyone else!)

Welcome, thats a nice car. I like the 9" swap. And as far as the Canadian guys go they are some of the most knowlegeable people on the forum so it's all good!

Hey thanks for the warm welcome guys! I'm looking forward to sittin' down with a coffee from time to time and hanging out here. I'm pretty much a visual person so I'll try to bring some pics with me when I come over.

Great to hear from some other "Canucks".

Chevyman85 thanks!. The 9" install was a lot of fun  and works well! I just need some motor-vation to really put it to good use if you know what I mean. I have an engine builder friend who's trying to talk me into letting him install a 6L LS1 that he just happens to have in the corner of his shop. Hmmm, do I really have to think about that for very long??

One project at a time!

Cheers,
Blair
