Monte hood on a Regal?

Does anyone know or have an opinion about if a Monte hood will fit my Regal. You can buy a steel cowl hood for the montes but not the Regals. I found a company that makes a glass hood for the Regals but its $1000.00 US before shipping. I know that my Regal has shocks for the hood and my friends '85 SS has springs. Do all Montes have springs? Can I convert my Regal too springs? Got a deal on a 454 so need a coowl hood. I dont think a bbc will clear the stock hood.

a big block should clear as long as you use a performer sized intake,i think the rpm's are just a touch too tall

I don't think the front edge will line up to your header panel but you should be able to mount it to the hinges.

try ebay the a company that dealsstrictly in fiberglass had a 4"cowl for like 500 shipped i believe and the had a trunklid too
