I have an 83 GP out in the junkyard with a factory moonroof. I think that is what it is called, anyways. It is the glass panel that is hinged on the front and has a flip-up latch at the rear. Let me know if i am wrong on what it is called. Anyway, i was trying to find a diagram or photos showing how this is attached to the car and the best way to remove it with out messing anything up. I want to put this into my 83 when i paint it, so I want everything to be in good shape. I am hoping i can save the headliner board while i am at it too.Any help or advice on where to look is appreciated.

To my knowledge (and I'm sure that someone will correct me if I'm wrong), GM did not put a flip up sunroof in any of the G body cars. There was a power sliding moonroof option on some of the Regals (and possibly the Cutlasses as well), but a flip up moonroof was not offered. The only other optional roof treatment was the factory T roof option.

I did not know that 😳 The guy i bought it from 15 years ago said it was original, but i cant remember if he was the original owner or not. Oh well, im still going to pull it out and use it. It looks real nice and the installation on that car is real clean.
