moonroof motor interchange / regal

I have a 81 regal sport coupe.
Someone took the moonroof motor out.
I found one from a 85 or 86. Does anyone know what years interchange. what about any other g bodies,

It should interchange no prob from any 81-88 Gbody, the 78-80 generally had a different moonroof, but I'd bet the motor would be the same. 80's olds toranods & Buick Rivera's also used the same moonroof. Better grab the motor while you can, gbodys with a moonroof are pretty rare. I know where a 81/83 regal is with a moonroof is if you need any parts in the future, although I couldn't be for certain that all is good.
