I have a donor g body frame that I am going to use. I am putting a SB Chevy engine it,,but there are numerous holes for the motor mounts. Anyone know or have any photos of the correct holes to use? Do the v/6 and v/8 use the same holes?

I believe, but do not quote me on this, that Chevy V6 and Chevy V8 us the same holes and I believe the same motor mounts. What car did the frame come from and what car is it going under?

Actually the motor mounts slide forward for V-8's to compensate for the increased length. I am not sure if the 6 and 8 mounts are different but do know the location is different. I do recall that the V-8 mounts have the front corners actually hanging over the engine crossmember. if you take the mounts and slide forward,it will become obvious where they go..Good luck...timo

SBC frame mount pics are in the How To Swap Buick V6 3.8 to SBC 350 sticky.
