I just purchased another Malibu with a built 355. Cam heads intake around 350 hp. I noticed that each side of the motor only has 2 or the 3 bolts holding the motor mount to the frame. I believe these are the wrong mounts for the motor. Will I be ok even if I stomp the throttle or does this have to be fixed?

I believe the correct mounts that bolt to the frame have four holes, but 3 of the 4 bolts get bolted to the actual frame and 1 hole in the corner hangs off the frame without a bolt. The mount to the engine block itself should have the 3 holes for a chevy motor. I don't know about 2 bolts though, that doesn't sound right.

Each motor mount (frame side and motor side) both only use 3 bolts

Sorry for the misunderstanding... I only have two bolts holding the mount to the frame on each side, NOT three. With the type of motor I am running I am asking if this is unsafe.

That sounds a little unsafe to only have two bolts because afterall it was intended for three. If it were mine, I would probably try and get that third bolt in each side before you have your fun.
