Im installing a 90s era 305 with a th350 into a 1979 2 door Malibu. Purchased new stock frame pads and put them in the correct location and went to install the engine trans combo and can only get one mount to line up even if I put one bolt in one side the other side is to high up and down its like the motor needs to be twisted but it wont any more talked to some other gm gurus around here and nobody knows what my problem is. do I need to change my clamshells or mounts I got new stock v8 mounts from az so they should be correct but what else could it be?
