Well for the 2nd time in 2 weeks Ive been pulled over, the first was cool because the cop was really hot looking. She said my exhaust was way too loud at 75 miles an hour lol> My cars only a 3 speed too. Tonight I got pulled over again for driving 62 in a 55, the guy was cool asked if I had anything illegal in the car, no I replied im just tired, he wrote my name down. Now im sick of bringing so much attention to myself,

Remember I need to get my exhaust fixed anyway becuase it hits, I currently am running a 2 inch exhaust through dual glasspacks. Is there any other one I could run and it might quiet it some, hence flowmasters or turboflows?? I need to quiet it down some, I dont want regular ones, I want a little bit of sound is the thing. Plus by changing mufflers I might be able to have the exhaust shop repair the **** up that got created in the first place. tell me what you guys think>>?

Also he took my name down, what the hells that mean, is that a warning or something??

Probably just a warning. My car is pretty quiet with 2.25in Walker Dynomax mufflers, but I also have everything running through a single 3 inch cat. You have the most obnoxious "muffler" available on your car right now. A switch to something more normal like the Dynomax would quiet it down. BTW, I have dual 2.5 in Flowmaster Delta Chamber 40's on my AMC Spirit with Hooker Super Comp headers, 3.54 gears and a 3 speed auto with a non lockup converter and it will make your ears bleed it's so loud! There is NO SUCH THING as a quiet Flowmaster. When I drive that car, I need to wear ear plugs. Needless to say, it is not my favorite car to drive. I have been in other cars with them that were not as bad (Spirits have a very short 96 in wheelbase), but none were ever quiet.

my flowmasters are not to loud......

I agree as well, my flowmasters are not obnoxiously loud to the point where it gets annoying. They help give the exhaust a nice lope but provide plenty of back pressure as to not throw off your valvetrain. Texas is a little different since cars last forever and even the cops here drive hot rods, so the cops don't even mess with you if you have a nice ride, no matter how loud. I got one ticket, got it dismissed lol, because i swapped out the gears and tires which threw the speedo off by 20mph.

Yeah I think

ill have turboflows for flowmasters put on this week and have them fix the exhaust while they are at it. Shouldnt cost more then 150 bucks, the mufflers are the expensive part of it.
