My car started out as plain jane Regal Limited with the n/a 3.8 V6 and THM200 trans. It has alot of power options such as power seats, windows, locks, and antenna.

Back in 2007 I swapped the engine and transmission out for a MCSS powertrain I bought for $250, including computer system and crossmember. Before installing it, I changed the cam out for the old Crane Power Max 2040 camshaft, used TES headers, used ZZ4 intake, and a higher stall converter. With these mods the motor pumps out 240 HP, not bad. Had the CCC Qjet rebuilt by SMI with stage 2. Installed the MCSS powertrain, complete with the V8 CCC system. Then installed a MCSS split exhaust.

Then I replaced my weatherstripping. Ripped my carpeting out to clen up a body leak. Then tracked down and fixed the leak. Had to remove my fenders to reseal the firewall seams. Then had to replace a bad door hinge on the driver's side. Then installed a GP brace.

A year later I bought a used 3.73 posi rear and swapped that in. Made a big difference in the car. Last year replaced my bad body mounts with poly and had to repair one of my frame mounts. I have a 34MM hollow sway bar that is waiting to be installed. Planning on replacing my bumper fillers and getting a aluminum rear bumper reinforcement.
