This SaturdayI picked up my new/old Malibu from Rhode Island. It is an '80 with 58k original miles. Pretty much mint with the exception of the rear rails. I inspected the car thoroughly and it is solid. Everything is pretty much original except for regular maintenance stuff. The floors underneath are solid which was concerning for me because of the rusted rails as is the rest of the car.

I even have the original manual and receipt for the undercoating at 41 miles. I just think that is pretty cool.

Here are some pics not the greatest but I just wanted to show it off a bit.

Sweet! It's a non a/c car too!

So what are your plans for it?

Glad to see the car turned out to be a nice one.
At least the frame is still strong enough that the bumper isn't held up with bungee cords!

Nice score. Good luck with it.

Nice car, I can't wait to see what you do with it!

Looks very solid, nice find. I would kill to have that dash very clean with no signs of any cracks

Ahhh so u decided to get it...looks pretty nice 😀 If u dont mind me asking whatd u end up paying for it??

I paid $1500. I took a chance being the car was three hours away and I didn't see it in person before hand. I took the owners word for it. He sounded honest so I took his word for it. I am the second owner the car belonged to his aunt who passed a couple of years ago and be also mentioned the car was garages for a few years. He gave me the original owners manual and the original receipt for the undercoating at 41 miles.
