Well here is vehicle #3 along with the malibu and roadrunner. It's a 1996 Dodge Dakota single cab with the V6 magnum, 4 speed automatic OD, and 8 1/4 3.55 rear end. The truck has 45,017 miles on it right now, and I paid 2500$ for it. The lady I bought it from purchased it at a GSA or government auction. It was origionally purchased by the Air Force just before one of the local bases was shut down. It was bought right when the base was shutting down, so it sat on a GSA auction lot until just recently, explaining the low miles. The Air Force painted it the midnight blue as you can see the origional blue under the hood. I'm going to repaint it this winter back to the origional blue and possibly put a gun metal gray R/T stripe on the side of the bed.

Truck runs great and already went to this junkyard this past weekend and hauled a 440 engine and cherry picker engine hoist with no sag in the rear end of the truck. Even pulled up a couple stumps out of the yard with it lol. Going out tomorrow to the yard to find a class 3 hitch, and go shopping for a tool box and brush guard...maybe.

You're doing it all wrong. You should have put that 440 in the front... 8)

wow that is a great looking truck! and for a steal of a price i would say. Paint looks pretty good but yeah the original blue will look much better on it. congrats on the find

you could always put a small turbo kit on it and go take peoples lunch money with it?
