I remember seeing ads for those wagon hatches back in the day. The side windows didn't curve up over the top like that, I don't think. What did it go for? I can't see it being that much.

Here's a video taken by a guy local to me of his day at Mecum. The event is huge; the cars are just great, but $30 to get in is more than I'd be interested in paying.

That's just a parts add on. In the 80s, the big local Pontiac dealer had those and other custom add ons for Firebirds.
I'd like to see one of the 70s concept Firebird/Camaro actuall concept wagons they almost produced. They were in a few magazines in the late 70s early 80s. They had curved 1/4 glass.

I believe it went for that $37k that it shows

Wow! On the basis of what? That kit is just wierd! Those people really pay insane prices for those cars, and the 10% commission on both ends is insane. Yeah, I'll donate 10% of the price of a car I sold.

Yeah I agree there is some stupid money spent at these things, but on the first or last day you may see something that slips through the cracks for a good deal. Or some of those one off cars that they put 100k plus into go for like 30k. If you have never gone it is def something worth going for, I think the $30 is a good deal since you get in for the 5 days that it runs.

Well, I didn't understand that the gate fee was for a number of days. In that case, it's fair. The cars are really phenominal.
