I'm working on replacing the 260 that was in my Cutlass with a SBC 355. I've pulled the 260, replaced the motor mounts, got a trans adapter plate for the BOP TH350, exhaust, spliced the starter wires to make 'em longer, and I've got all my accessory brackets. Have I missed anything? What do I do with all the electrical hook ups that we're on the 260 since there's nowhere to hook them on the 350? Any help would be very much appreciated.

What electrical hookups are you talking about, that were on the 260, that you are saying that you don't need on the 350? Also just curious why you didn't get a transmission with the SBC bellhousing bolt pattern. Does the Olds transmission have the dual bolt pattern bellhousing?. I'm also wondering, if you use an adapter plate, doesn't that affect the overall spacing of the engine/transmission mounts, because you're making the overall engine and transmission assenbly longer? A bit more information would be helpful.
If all else fails, there is a sticky in the engine swap section on this site with info on the SBC swap, including a parts list. Hope this helps. Good luck.

The guy at the shop told me yesterday that the hook ups are for sensors and stuff but since I'm running mechanical gauges I won't need them. I didn't have enough in my budget for another trans right now and the one I got is BOP bolt pattern only. The adapter is 1/8" thick so it shouldn't cause much of a problem if any. Might have to oblong the holes in the mounts on the block or somethin if it throws it off enough to not fit.

Sounds like you're going with kind of a custom setup on your swap. I can't be anymore help to you. Maybe someone else can chime in with some ideas. Good luck.

I used the trans adapter long ago it worked fine and I think mine came with spacers for the torque convertor bolts. I wouldn't recommend an adapter for any high powered engine but for a swap like this it will be fine you can swap it out later if you upgrade the engine.
As far as wiring if you are installing a non computer sbc and are running your own gauges then all you really need are your starter, ignition, alternator and if you have an electric choke or decide you might want to adapt your ac over then you will need those hook ups also.
If you are using chevy frame and engine mounts they will not have to be modified. The only thing that is possible is having to slot the holes in the trans mount or you can loosen your crossmember and try sliding it back an 1/8".
