Need a part number for an Ac Delco side post battery

I want one for my 78 Cutlass Salon. I just want side posts and no top posts showing. I have the original battery tray and hold down. It does have the core support to center fender braces.

Thanks for the info. I had called my local Chevy dealership parts guy. He said he was unsure on that old of a car. I think he was too lazy to look. I went to the ac delco site and found the battery list for my specific vehicle and they had pics of each battery. Found a 700 CCA and that's the one I'll get.

I spotted this old post in the links at the bottom of the page. I know this is now obsolete data, but what you want is a 78 series battery. That's the highest Cold Cranking Amps (CCA) size for a GM V8 car.

you want a 75 or 78 series battery those are the side mounts
