need answers on which wire is what

I need to find out what the tan/white stripe off the ignition switch is, it only has power when the cluster is pluged in. Also i found two wires that were cut, one is orange/black stripe and black/white stripe. Last thing is what does this box go to? It is mounted under the dash with the bracket attached to it and has a yellow,orange, and black wire going to it. Thanks

Still have not figured out what the box is for, if i dont need it i would like to remove it.

Where exactly is the box located? Orange wires typically relate to lighting and the dome light circuits. I thought it was a relay, but with only 3 wires am not so sure. If you can tell me what components it is by, I may be able to look at my car and see where it goes.

I think you are on the right track- this one has had me puzzled all night! There was a timed dome light delay option for later G bodies, this could possibly be the controller. Just pull the connector from the box, and see what happens (or doesn't happen, most likely. 😱 )

it is near the radio area, its hard to say exactly where it was mounted cause the dash is still out of the car. i will assume it is part of the radio or something since the three wires going to it are found also on the radio.
