Need driveshaft part ASAP

Hey guys I need the flat metal clip that holds the u joint bearing caps on the rear of the driveshaft. It keeps the u joint caps from coming apart and is thin flat metal with little metal tabs that slide under the bearing caps. Anyone have any idea where I can get one an why is the actual term for that part?

I believe you are talking about the C clip retaner - local auto store.

Are you talking about the piece that run from one cap to the other. I call it scrap metal all the u joint i have have a clip that snap over cap. One drive shaft is bolted in the cclip wont allow it to slip out of yoke. Thats more of a factory retainer for assembly. Not needed if you intalled ne u joints with inside clips.

Those are for the rear end - axle c-clip retainers

Alright it was just the junk factory holding clip. All good now.
