I just put a 350 small block in my 87 regal... So obviously I am going to need some new headers. I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions for me or if I would be able to use the headers in the link below.. Any help would be great guys, thanks

Those headers WILL work according to the applications tab. They are the cheapest you can buy and may or may not fit well but they should work. It looks like they come with gaskets, hardware, and reducers to fit them to your exhaust.

I think if you are looking for a cheap way to replace your manifolds with headers, these are a good choice. Any headers that cost marginally, say $50, more probably aren't worth any more performance over these but may fit better.

I wish I could say exactly as to how they will fit but I don't have any experience with them and have heard nothing about them.

I have used:

They fit well but cost more and have a smaller primary tube diameter at 1 1/2". For a mild street engine, the 1 1/2" primaries shouldn't harm performance and may help to boost low end torque. However, they will not leave room for improvement as an engine making over 300-350hp with higher flowing heads will likely need at least a 1 5/8" primary tube header.

I also have Hedman hedders #68310 on my 81 Malibu, They fit great. My only problem with them is the header has to be unbolted from the exhaust and the motor when replacing the starter. Now that shouldn`t stop you from buying hedman headers im just making you aware. You could always buy a mini starter. I can and do run the big oil filter with my heddmans as some headers you can only run the small oil filter. My next headers will be flowtech or Jegs (Flowtech makes Jegs headers) for the price and fitment. Hooker also has a great header But I have never used them. Some G-body onwers like Schoenfeld headers But Agine I havent used them. Heres a link to my post asking questings about the fitment of Flowtech and Jegs headers on a G-body viewtopic.php?f=3&t=37122&hilit=+headers

Hooker has a 2466 model. They call it a shorty. The collector is just above the floorboard. 5/16 flange, 1 5/8 tubes too. Jegs has an accurate catalog photo. Got 2 sets on 2 El Camino's. 8)
