Hi i have an 83 grand prix ok that is in pretty nice shape just has a 3.8 v6 28th a blown head gasket. I wanted to swap a chevy 350 in it to get it running and slowly upgrade trans, rear, suspension, etc. My question is can I just use an adapter plate and keep the stock transmission and swap it to a th350 or 700r4 later on down the road? All help is appreciated.
