Need Help Finding Parts

I'm new to this website and I'm sure this or something like it has been posted before.

I'm in the middle of restoring my 1985 Buick Regal. I'm looking to find a couple websites that sell newer parts. I really want to find new all chrome bumpers front and rear without the impact strips.

Any help will be great. 😀

I don't know that brand new is an option. You might have to settle for used, or possibly have the holes in your current ones welded shut, smoothed out, and then have the bumpers re-chromed. As for where to get them plated, I'm not sure yet but I'm looking into it. I know Lincoln Industries (formerly Lincoln Plating) no longer does private jobs, but I might have a connection at Sioux Plating. I need to do some follow up on that lead.

Also, dig through the Nebraska craigslist ads. There's a guy who posts parts for '81-up Regals fairly often. He might have what you're looking for. Where in Nebraska are you located?

Ya, I figured I would have to get them re-chromed.

Regals are tuff, got 2 be pretty resourceful in finding new parts for them. Fortunately alot of people on here sell (used) parts for them. Just ask if you need something someone might be able to help you.

Check it out. '78-'87 Regal only post. It seems like most of the posters are from CA. Been tracking this post for a while. Lot's of good stuff out west. 😀

Yeah I need to comb through that post for '78 specific parts. But at the moment funding is low, so I haven't looked too hard yet.
