I have an '85 Cutlass 4 dr. sedan in desperate need of front window run channel. Does anyone know of a source, or is there an aftermarket universal type that will work??

Can you post up a pic of the part you need, there is 5 or 6 80-88 4 door Cutlasses here in the salvage yard.

I will try to post some pics, but I'm not really good with that, I'll have to get the wife to help. Basically, I need the channel that the glass runs in for both front doors. It's a sedan door, so it's the channel that runs all the the way around the top of the door, and extends down into the window track inside the door. I couldn't find the beltline moulding either, so I have ordered 2 new ones from GM for a 2 door which are longer, and will have to cut them down to fit.

All the rubber around the glass is shot on both front doors. What's left is as hard as a rock, cracked, and chunks keep falling out. This car obviously came from a warm climate. The paint is as dull as primer also, but not a speck of rust in the body or frame. I plan on painting it in the spring, and will need to replace all the rubber then.

I would appreciate any help you could give!!

Thanks,
Randy
