I've got to go tomorrow and help my mom, her daily drives starter went out.

It's a 2000 Monte Carlo SS, 3.8l supercharged.

how much labor is involved with getting too / replacing the starter in this car??

Normally it wouldn't matter, but I'm limited on how much physical labor i can do, and the jobs gotta get done.

It's located in the front of the engine bay area. i believe you should be able to do it from the top of the car. should be two bolts and two nuts. should take 30-45 minutes. basic hand tools, just make sure you put the wires back on the correct terminals of the starter. sometimes the purple ignition wire can have two spots on the solenoid. just take a mental note before you take the wires off.
