isnt the throttle lever suppose to be hitting the end of that screw when no throttle i think that's why it's not starting, ican smell the gas when i trying to start it , it's flooding it out... how do i fix it, it started the first time and then i go to knock it down although it wasnt fully warmed up and it got stuck at full throttle and couldnt get it unstuck
your linkage is in fast idle mode the choke linkage is holding the throttle open thats normal on cold start up.... take a screw driver and tap the area around the fuel inlet, you might have a stuck float!!! hope this helps...jesse
yea well i had a friend who knows everything about carbs and we tore down the choke part which was a biiiich to do on the car, but pretty much the damn choke is being stupid and not "free" like it should be still gets stuck hear an there but i just push it down if the idle dont go down so i'll just get the piece rebuilt or a new one when i get the $
