Need help with removing door locks...

I am getting ready to do all the body work on my car, and i have some rust around the door looks on the outside and was wondering how to get em out, so i can bondo it and then drill it outand replace em...pictures will help also!

There is a retaining clip on the inside. Remove the rod, then pull the retainer and the cylinder comes right out. BTW, you will not be able to "repair" rust with bondo. It will just continue to rust underneath and the time you spent doing bodywork will go to waste. You need to cut out the rust and replace with good steel.

thats interesting , a body shop guy told me that i should just get the loose out, and then bondo it over...idk thought have went through my head of a keyless entry lol

i kinda figured it wouldnt stop it, i was told there are some spray paint than can stop it, something in it? idk

You can get rust neutralizer and encapsulator; check Summit racing or Eastwood.com.
If it were me and I was doing the body work, I would not take the chance. Cut out the rust and weld in a patch. You will be glad you did when your paint does not start peeling up and continuing to rust after you put in all the work.
