need help with this sunroof- super rigged

someone stuck wood in the track and rtv'd it in

where can I get a motor and what else do I have to do to make it right

the motor is completly missing all you can see is the gear in the roof

is there any trim that goes around the sunroof on the outside

Well for parts on a factory sunroof car any 78-88 g-body were pretty much screwed. the only part ive seen available is a replacement seal, which is around $90 new gm part. the motor i have never seen a replacement one other than a junkyard part. the monte, grand national, regal, cutlass all used the same power sunroof assembly. in my 78 monte i replaced the whole enchalida with a power glass one out of an 87 grand national. your best bet for parts is to check the junk yards and hope to find one. the power sunroof was more prevelant in the regals and cutlasses.
