I'm the owner of a 78 regal and I'm me a need a new hood shock to hold up cause propping it with a stick is getting to be pain when working on certain things. My car only had one shock on it when I bought it and there's no bracket on the other side so I'm guessing it came factory like that. I have the shock to get the right sized one but I need to know how strong to get it. The hood isn't aluminum if that helps.
